Whether you have an Alarm and/or Fire and/or CCTV monitored system you can rest assured that IVP are watching over your home or business premises 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Wherever you are, whether it be at home, work or on holiday, you will enjoy the peace of mind knowing that IVP is protecting what is important and precious to you.

Monitored systems (Alarms and/or CCTV systems) are also a fantastic deterrent to would-be intruders. When asked in a study (research conducted by Advantage Research Ltd – Aug 12), 93% of UK burglars said that a monitored Alarm system would put them off committing a burglary.

Every time your Alarm goes off our NSI ARC Gold Scheme (Alarm Receiving Centre) receives an alert. An Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) is manned around the clock, which means your Alarm is never ignored. There are also industry guidelines and British Standards that stipulate how, and within what time-frame, our ARC staff must respond to your Alarm.

Once the alarm is confirmed (we filter out false alarms), we will contact you and your nominated keyholders. Then, depending on your monitoring package, we may call the police or fire service where necessary.

Vehicle Tracking

The requirements for the installation and monitoring of After Theft Systems with Vehicle Immobilisation for Vehicle Recovery (ATSVIVR) are comprehensive and extremely stringent. They include:

• Only qualified and register personnel who meet the requirements of the Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) Policies can install ATSVIVR systems.

• The Systems Operating Centre (SOC) must meet the requirements of the LEA’s Policy to monitor ATSVIVR systems.

• A Unique Reference Number (URN) will be issued to the SOC for the purpose of monitoring ATSVIVR systems. This URN is issued by the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO).

• Other types of vehicle tracking systems that operate outside of the LEAs’ Policy will be classified as type B systems and a URN will not be issued to the SOC to monitor such systems.
